“...Must be Punished...”. That’s so funny I can’t quit laughing.

1)
2)
3)
4). Never.

Never still running strong.

It’s like the Dreyfuss case. This one needs to be in the history books as an object lesson of deep government corruption and legal malfeasance.

No, the top FBI don’t need to be punished. They need to be talked about, endlessly.

lets see here...the DOJ is going to punish its own?

LOL!!!!!

John Durham and Bill Barr are. I’m sure , great guys and great patriots. They still draw their paychecks from the same people as those they charged with investigating and holding accountable.

Think about that. they still need to retire someday-hopefully in peace. That doesn’t happen if they “maim the dragon” here.

A few people will get a wrist slapping -mebbe get to confine the remainder of their life’s professional activities to the private sector.

If that happens to more than 3-6 people something else entirely is going on.

Given his established pattern of working to protect the institution of the DOJ above other considerations, it is likely that Barr will try to let the case be dismissed without also punishing all the myriad bad actors involved in it, many of whom, like Van Grack, are still on his staff. That would be a malfeasance on his own part

Barr is a smart guy. He has also written and spoken eloquently on questions of faith, religious liberty, and the ongoing, very deliberate efforts to overthrow the moral foundations of American society.

He has perhaps already connected the dots, but just to be sure: someone who knows him well should remind him that he stands today in exactly the position of the members of the Catholic hierarchy who ignored the growing crisis for so many years. Though not sexually compromised themselves, they swept the sex abuse problems under the rug because they were more interested in protecting the public image of the church than in rooting out the cancer. At every point of decision, they broke faith with the church, abandoned their flock, disregarded their vows, and chose not to rock the boat.

Failure to take decisive action will have the same result in both cases. The corruption is apparent. If there is a saving remnant in positions of authority, they must act. If they don't, the public will draw the appropriate conclusions.

There will be no justice unless there is a revolution and these enemies are hunted down in the streets by mobs with torches and pitchforks. Chances of that ...

The people who run “justice” in this country will prosecute YOU for something before they ever prosecute any of the malefactors responsible for the Gen Flynn framekins job. And you can bet your life on that.

Hope Maria B is correct and exoneration for Gen. Michael Flynn is coming.

I supported and wanted to see this happen, never a pardon. Always I prayed and supported the truth coming out and exoneration.

EyesOfTX, great job but you did not name the Missouri US Attorney appointed to review the case nor mention Timothy Shea in DC both appointed by AG Barr.

Van Crackhead and the prior D.C. US Attorney Rhee both must resign and face charges, at a minimum.

President pulled Rhee from a senior Treasury appointment. He knew!

God bless Gen. Michael Flynn and his family they went through hell.

Deepstate/democrats are never punished. That’s why their criminal practices are exponentially increasing, in frequency and severity.

Flynn was entrapped, strong-armed and railroaded.

The FBI has been doing that to American citizens for a long time - and getting away with it.

I hope they won’t get away with it this time.

Our multi-tiered justice system won’t do a thing to these criminals who did this to Gen Flynn but they definitely deserve the same or worse punishment they tried to inflict on Flynn. Loss of career, no pension, jail time, loss of home and marriage, loss of reputation, etc. etc.

From the article:This REALLY pisses me off. Barr is the chief policeman for the US. Why, why, would he allow members of his staff get away with committing crimes?

If that's the way it's gonna be, we should give up on all the other bad actors (too many to list here, but you know who they are) ever being brought to justice.

Perhaps President Trump should get involved here?

The way this is fixed is really quite simple. Anyone involved in the corrupt conviction, FBI agents and managers, need to wind up serving the sentence for which they falsely and illegally charged their victims. And they must spend either the time actually served, or the sentence awarded, whichever is LONGER.

And if the victim died in jail, as did one of the victims in the FBI/Whitey Bulger corruption case, where the FBI falsified evidence and documents to protect Whitey Bulger, they need to spend the rest of their lives in jail.

This crap about leniency for law enforcement officials is evil. The people, through government agrees to grant law enforcement the power to control the lives of the governed, even to the power to take lives. With that granted power MUST come greater responsibility, and examples MUST be made of the people who participated in these illegal and frankly evil, actions.

Everyone involved MUST be made to pay, both legally and civilly. They RUINED General Flynn’s life, and they destroyed the career of Carter Paige.

They also attempted to interfere with an election, and when that failed, attempted to destroy the government that won. That is, at the very least, sedition. But as an attack both on the legally elected government and the Constitution, it should be treason, though I suppose it doesn’t fit the textbook definition, since we weren’t legally in a state of war.

Mark
