These are my top Five tunes of the 1950's. The only ones that charted were #1 and #4, which is the only one to have made the Top 10.

  1. Bewitched--Gordon Jenkins & His Orchestra (1950)

  2. Stalin Kicked the Bucket--Ray Anderson (1953)

  3. Good Golly, Miss Molly--The Playboys (1955)

  4. Born to Be With You--The Chordettes (1956)

  5. Follow the Rock--The Baybops (1958)

Bewitched—Gordon Jenkins & His Orchestra (1950) - #24 for the year
Born to Be With You—The Chordettes (1956) - #37 on the year

Stalin Kicked the Bucket—Ray Anderson (1953) - you got me there completely! My mom would like this I’m sure.

Good Golly, Miss Molly—The Playboys (1955) - wow, completely different from Little Richard! And not mentioned at all through Wiki (including the Playboys).

Follow the Rock—The Baybops (1958) - wow you got me totally. I like it - and it’s a tribute to the current scene which was so popular then.

While my sound is acting up, I agree “good golly” is a great song. Bad message but that happens.
