Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey said Wednesday he will not make a decision on the states expiring stay-at-home order intended to slow the spread of the coronavirus until next week.
The order, which went into effect March 31, is set to expire April 30, or next Thursday.
The Republican governor said he is waiting to make decisions on what comes next for the state to avoid potentially having to reverse them in the future.
In the meantime, the police in his state act like Hitlers Gestapo! Winslow, Arizona police recently arrested a business owner for staying open.
Several people complained to the Winslow mayor when Authentic Indian Store, which primarily sold Native American jewelry, stayed open well into April, police said. The police also said to the owner a few really strange things for a country that has Democratic values! We dont want you to feel like were harassing you. Winslow police.
If youre open for business we have that right. Winslow police.
The body camera video shows police contacting the owner, 71-year-old Daniel J. Mazon, on April 11.

From 12 News:
As soon as the officers walk in, Mazon starts recording them with his cell phone. When officers tell him he cant stay open, Mazon argues that he is in compliance, saying he changed his license name to Indian Department Store.
He told officers he was now selling hay, paper towels, water and food, which officers noted were just candy bars.
I get one or two people a day corona bologna, Mazon says as an officer looks at his store license.
Police said Mazon had been warned twice about keeping his store open, once by the Winslow mayor and once again by police, in the days before this incident. The officer says in the body camera video that these warnings came after the store license was issued on March 24.
Police asked Mazon for his drivers license, but he refused.
You dont need my drivers license. Im not driving, Mazon responds in the video.
Police then handcuff and detain him for failing to identify himself.
What is more disgusting than this Governor, Mayor and Police are the fascist snitches.
They unfortunately have a right to shut down his business as its a license .
Arresting him for not showing papers is totalitarian jack booted thuggery however.
These, so called, leaders dont understand theyre fomenting complete and total civil collapse just to make people feel safe
His store isn’t an essential business.
I bet his income is pretty “essential” to him...
But thanks for taking the role of ultimate authority on what is essential in everyone’s lives...takes the burden off of the rest of us.
I drive through Winslow regularly and stop for gas and lunch. Never again, from now on I will leave exhaust fumes only in Winslow.
I am SORELY DISAPPOINTED in Gov Ducey. Arizona used to be a bastion of freedom loving Conservatives. The California influx and the illegal immigration have destroyed this great state. Look for 2 Dem Senators here, when Kelly ballot harvests the win in November.
They unfortunately have a right to shut down his business as its a license .
Disagree. He has a right to a pre or post judicial or administrative hearing before his property, (license), can be taken and shutting him down is a taking according to the USSC.
Idiot officer is one of those that wears his facemask under, not over, his nose.
He should be arrested.
You dont need my drivers license. Im not driving, Mazon responds in the video.
Police then handcuff and detain him for failing to identify himself.
Arrested for not showing photo ID to the Gestapo -- BUT -- not required to do so to VOTE!
The names on their tags would have been burned into memory and a new ‘business’ outlined...
Standin' on a corner ...
It's the cops, my Lord! In an unmarked Ford ...
Slowin' down to take a look at me.
Doug Ducey—a more appropriate spelling would be Duce—ran as a conservative when he was elected governor.
“Police asked Mazon for his drivers license, but he refused.
You dont need my drivers license. Im not driving, Mazon responds in the video.
Police then handcuff and detain him for failing to identify himself.”
Classic tiny penis pig behavior. This is why I never buy it when the bootlickers say “most cops aren’t bad”. They may not all shoot innocent people and drop guns on them, but all of them pull this type of stunt to falsely arrest people routinely, usually anytime one of their purported bosses, the citizenry, challenges their inflated sense of authority.
Yep... and note that the cops already had seen his business license and admitted freely they knew who he was, so there wasn’t any need to ask for the ID... EXCEPT to bait him into refusing so they could arrest him as a form of harassment.
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience. - C.S. Lewis
It seems to me that all the busy bodies that get their fill of inserting themselves in other peoples lives while at work, are now stuck at home and are about to bust as they have no outlet for their do goodery.
Given their inability to passive aggressively virtue signal at work, they now snitch on businesses trying to keep from going bust.
Aside from the Barney Fife, types I think a lot of LEOs will simply refuse to follow these unconstitutional orders. In this case give the guy a warning maybe a ticket but arrest him...what for?
> His store isnt an essential business.
His store IS an “essential business”. He changed his licensing category to department store and ordered in and sells items to meet that categories requirements.
In the video the police keep harping on the fact that he doesn’t have enough hay, ignoring him when he says he has a shipment coming in. I guess we should close down all the stores that are out of toilet paper.
This boils down to a little tyrant Mayor that either has a grudge or just likes flexing his “powers”.
