Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), speaks to the media after the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee on Ebola in Congo, in Geneva, Switzerland, Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018. The World Health Organization says it is deeply concerned by the ongoing Ebola outbreak in Congo but the situation does not yet warrant being declared a global emergency. President Donald Trump has been trying to hold the World Health Organization to account for their failures and water-carrying for the Chinese in response to the Wuhan coronavirus. He put their funding on hold pending a review.
The WHO falsely spread the Chinese lie on Jan. 14, that there was no evidence of human-to-human transmission despite the fact that they had been informed by Taiwan that there was likely transmission and despite the fact that, at the same time, President Xi Jinping had been apprised not only was it communicable by it was of epidemic proportions. The WHO continued to push that there was no need to restrict travel with China. Even after it became clear to the rest of the world that what China had told them was a lie, the WHO continued to praise China for their response and their transparency.
So guess what the WHO was doing last night? The WHO was part of a Global Citizen concert, One World Together at Home, put together with Lady Gaga. It was, as the NY Post, a pretty dismal event.
Among the people in attendance, albeit virtually, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Stevie Wonder, former US first ladies Michelle Obama and Laura Bush, Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion, and Taylor Swift.
Heres Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, to tell you about how they want to break down barriers.
#COVID19 has taken so much from us, but it has also given us a unique opportunity:
-To put aside our differences
-To break down barriers
-To see and seek the best in each other
-To lift our voices for #HealthForAll-@DrTedros during the One world, #TogetherAtHome pic.twitter.com/PmwBn3HK8l World Health Organization (WHO) (@WHO) April 19, 2020
We agree that it should never happen again, which is why you should not be in charge of anything.
We are all in this together. Trust in science and know that the world is working hard on a vaccine and treatments. Keep being kind to one another and always find joy in your days-@mvankerkhove, One world: #TogetherAtHome #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/eMfzu3TiIO

Guess what the concert did? Not just pitch platitudes about global citizenship. But raise money for the WHO. The two-hour primetime show curated by Lady Gaga raised more than $150 million for the WHOs Solidarity Response Fund, organizers said, according to the NY Post. So you basically had the WHO, which threw us under the bus for China, then using these celebrities, including Michelle Obama and Laura Bush, to help get them more money.
Laura Bush? What an uninformed ass.
Did anybody play Steve Miller band take the money and run?
One world
Global citizen
They dont even hide the agenda damn despots
Great idea... Let’s support the organization that is responsible for the spread of the virus... Another example of just how dumb celebrities truly are.
Uh, I don’t think she’s uninformed. She’s a globalist.
Why do you think she’s so tight with Mike and Obambi?
I never thought I’d have the faintest hope that the US would evict the United Nations but defunding WHO has given me that faint hope.
Yep! She's almost as smart as ¡JEB!
Great. Let whoever loves the WHO fund it themselves ....tired of seeing MY tax dollars go to funding it.
Whatever they “raise” won’t keep it open for long anyway. It’s likely a bottomless pit of financial need and requests.
Money? Well, get back. I’m all right, Jack. Keep your hands off of my stack.
I have no respect for any Bush’s anymore.
She also supports same sex marriage and abortion.
She's not the image she projects.
Rope
Lampposts
Some assembly required.
Laura Bush? I am extremely disappointed.
If the WHO needs money, it can ask the Chinese Communist Party.
They both look worse for wear.
It was broadcasted on ABC, CBS, and NBC. Also ran or CNN. Probably a dozen other channels, but I put some sort of Netflix/HULU/Prime/Youtube crap on instead. Every single person on the show was a wealthy Communist useful IDIOT.
This anti-IMF song would have been a good counterculture anthem to be heard that night.

Then again he doesnt like the press either so there goes his invite
Its likely a bottomless pit of financial need and requests.....GEEE! Just like the Democrats.
