Perhaps it is that you appear to the IRS to be a low-income family in which case you get nothing.

It is sad that you need this money so much to worry about it.
I shall pray for you.

We got our notification today that the money is in the bank. We are planning to send half to Tunnel to Towers foundation. No, we are not part of the upper crust, we are both retired and living on fixed income.

Look up your Adjusted Gross Income from last year. If you filed electronically last year, you will get it to the same account. If that AGI is $150,000 or less, you and your husband will get $2,400.
Only the lowest claimed income people are getting their checks first. For those nearer or above $150,000 combined AGI, you will get it several weeks from now.
The IRS site is not working until mid-April.

Yes, we did. Some Freepers were saying they did, some said they didn't. Probably a gremlin in an antiquated system. I worked at the Atlanta IRS office a couple of years, and they were sorely hurting for system upgrades. In our case, I thought it didn't show, but my wife used Credit Karma this year to have our taxes done. She was given the choice of direct deposit or an American Express card and account, and she chose the card, which is what they used to DD ours. I never knew until I texted her this afternoon. She didn't want me to go running off and buying a new riding mower or something.
Makes me wonder what else she's hiding from me. 🤔 😉

This is nothing more than conditioning people. That's why the Dems just proposed a $2,000 a month stimulus for everybody. They want the lock down to last through the election, and they have just destroyed Trump's economic numbers which were the best of any Presidency in history.

Anyone know how long it will be until paper checks are US Mailed to those of us who file electronically, but receive tax refunds by paper check, not direct deposit.
Thanks

My ex wife is on social security disability and SS deposits into her account monthly. Her $1,200 check went into her account on Monday and cleared yesterday.
I’know several people who have it electronically.

I checked the site today and received the same message:
Payment Status Not Available
According to the information we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time.
We definitely do qualify to receive a mailed check.

The IRS also announced a new Get My Payment tool that it says will launch on April 17. Get My Payment will provide people with the status of their payment, including the date their payment is scheduled to be deposited into their bank account or mailed to them, the IRS said.
