Isn’t it “we’ve never heard of you but send money”?
I comes when it comes.
Worrying about it does not speed it up.
The IRS also announced a new Get My Payment tool that it says will launch on April 17. Get My Payment will provide people with the status of their payment, including the date their payment is scheduled to be deposited into their bank account or mailed to them, the IRS said.

Yes I heard lower income first then higher incomes coming later
For: Payment Status Not Available:
In certain cases, the Get My Payment app will be unable to tell you the status of your payment. You may receive this message for one of the following reasons:
If you are not eligible for a payment (see IRS.gov on who is eligible and who is not eligible)
If you are required to file a tax return and have not filed in tax year 2018 or 2019.
If you recently filed your return or provided information through Non-Filers: Enter Your Payment Info on IRS.gov. Your payment status will be updated when processing is completed.
If you are a SSA or RRB Form 1099 recipient, SSI or VA benefit recipient the IRS is working with your agency to issue your payment; your information is not available in this app yet.
You can check the app again to see whether there has been an update to your information. Get My Payment data is updated once per day, so theres no need to check back more frequently.
I read an article online from Forbes Magazine. It said that those who have filed AND have direct deposit will get their money first. Then those who have filed but get refunds through the mail will get theirs. The last group will be those who have not filed in the last two years but get ssi.
One poster said their daughter got the same message but her direct deposit was in her account not long after that same day.
Not one person I’ve heard of has received a snail mail check yet. The liberal wet dream story that President Trump was holding the checks back to sign them is BS.
In my experience, it’s sometimes difficult to get accurate information from federal agencies.
You had to have filed a tax return and had direct-deposit on file with the IRS, to get direct deposit of the stimulus money in the first place. If you will receive the payment by mail/check, it will take longer. (And you’ll get Trump’s signature on it ;-)
(We saw ours in the account this morning - I had tried to get into our bank account for a couple of days to balance the checkbook, and couldn’t get in. Then I realized that the whole world was looking for that money, and bogging-down the system.)
We also honor our military and first responders who continue to make the supreme sacrifice of life and limb for our country.
Very noble of you. 8>)
If you are on SS I think those deposits will be next I believe the SS department will be handling those deposits!!
I guess I have to call our bank tomorrow as I can’t find any information on the IRS site. We filed our return early because we needed the money for our property taxes which were due the end of February.
It didn’t work fine for me. It didn’t recognize my data and after a half dozen attempts told me to screw off and not try again until tomorrow.
By the way, the rejection of the data was instant... it’s not like it went away, tried to do something and failed. I suspect the webpage isn’t working properly - which isn’t surprising because nothing in this worthless government works properly.
Are you receiving SS???
thanks for this...

No. But I earn very little, am self-employed and haven’t had any reason to give the government my bank account data. I went on the site to try to enter that and the irs suddenly doesn’t know who I am.
Of course, if I OWED them money, they’d know who I am in a heartbeat!
Still waiting. I get SS and we filed our 2019 tax return with refund several weeks ago, so the feds have our direct deposit info. Since most of our income is retirement based, we’re doing ok. The wife has a side gig going on that has taken a hit, but we can survive without that income.
So condescending. Your comment really bothered me. Im glad I didnt share a problem with you.
