No changes in that area.
You probably don't have any mechanic friends, right? Perhaps an online mechanic might be a cheap start?
Not on SSA yet.
Yes, definitely.
I figured I was not the only one in this situation and that others would have the same questions.
I hadn’t seen a vanity or comments about it so thought posting a thread could be informative.
Thanks.
Yep. My wife told me our checks have been deposited.
I don’t know how she was notified. I didn’t ask.
I finally got onto our online banking and looked and did not see it deposited.
I figured I’d just check that to see when it happens.
Only people who received direct deposit refunds from 2018 or 2019 taxes received the payment into the account the IRS had in file. If you owed taxes instead of getting a refund, you will get a check in a couple of weeks or you can go to the IRS website and give them your bank account info.
Banks are overwhelmed with online access and phone calls. Literally ever account holder checked their account today. Many then called the bank to try to find out why they did not get money and they have no answers.
I would think they speed up refunds to those who filed taxes this year already, then.
Never ther. Its truth
you gave wrong information
all low income families get money the max
the high income don’t get.
you should be careful posting when the info is wrong or you are guessing
a lot of errors of the same type today
They gave instructions if payments have not processed by today then you should find the link on the website, IRS.GOV to get a mailed check.
We’ll look into that.
Thanks.
My mom filed her taxes in Jan. she received her deposit today, she is not low income in anyway!! They are doing tax filers first SS will be last because SS recipients have not been furloughed from a job most are retired maybe with a very small part time job!!
Actually there was an article that stated just that some weeks ago low income did not qualify - must have been fake. Still, dependent kids and dependent adults as well as anyone without a SS number do not qualify
If you are a SSA or RRB Form 1099 recipient,
Thanks. That answers why they have no idea who we are. lol
I just found out that if you owed tax last year or this year, you get a paper check and not a direct deposit.
It seems the government wont assume money can go back the exact same way it went out.
However, if you had a refund last year or this year, they will still use that one way permission back to you for this credit.

That answers the question.
Because my husband is self-employed, we do estimated taxes and ended up owing.
Ill check the mail when we get home ti hen.
