Amen. The fear and panic seems to be aimed at Gen Y women who use social media but also mostly rely on CNN or The View for news. They then spread the “we must do more to save the children/elderly/whatever” panic on social and the elected officials play off that on their actions for votes.
You get useless emotional responses to a crisis that don’t help or make it worse.
