The same people who say we have to shut down the country based on nothing but guesses and "models" are the exact same people saying we must not prescribe hydroxychloroquine until we have full 10,000 participant double-blind trials and conclusive scientific proof.
It seems the alleged "Science-Lovers" and Twitter scolds are willing to roll the dice on some speculations, but are extremely aggressive that we don't gamble on other ones.
So strange that sometimes we take suggestive evidence as conclusive proof that we must do something dramatic and destructive -- shutting the country's economy down -- but in other case, suggestive evidence is not enough to encourage doctors to prescribe a well-tested drug with minimal side-effects.
Why? There is no scientific reason for this -- it's entirely driven by the Orange Man Bad Axiom. They want to shut the economy down because they know it's the only way to stop the Bad Orange Man. They do not want any remedy for coronavirus discovered because that would result in the economy being reopened.
Isn't it awfully convenient that we need very little evidence to do something which will harm Trump's reelection chances, but we cannot prescribe a drug which could improve his reelection chances until three years from now when all the studies are completed, peer-reviewed, and published? What other reason could there be for this except the obvious, ghoulishly partisan one?

I believe that’s part of it, but also believe this entire situation is a “Red Flag” event. It was planned by the Deep State and their global partners like George Soros, Bill Gates, et al, to allow them the means to fully implement their agenda. Crash the economy, close the schools and keep everybody locked up until they can get their machinery in place and when ready they will release us from our cages into a new world with a new economy and new set of rules. They will have created their socialist paradise with total control without firing a single bullet.

My question of Fauci is more legitimate than his use of it against HCQ (hundreds of times).
If Trump doe not get the economy going pretty quick he will not be reelected. Obama would never have shut down the country. He would have let 100,000 people die. That is his track record.
Children need to be in school.
Seniors need to be protected.
Everyone else needs to get back to work.
Very cute. But both effectiveness and ineffectiveness, along with side effects and their severity, could be proved with the exact same study that Dr. Fauci wants.

President Trump's messages are always optimistic....the very antitheses of his critics who want America to fail in order to blame President Trump.
So, when do the bullets start flying? Because that’s what it’s gonna take if things go on too much longer.
I am a modeler. The models are absolutely correct. They are not handwaving. They are not guessing. They are not wild speculation. They are not democrat propaganda. They are math facts, with uncertainties. But the fact that they posess uncertainties does not disqualify them. It qualifies them.
It is a math fact that if you did not have the lockdown somewhere near 2 million people would die. The error in that is not plus or minus 2 million. It is plus or minus a few hundred thousand.
The fact that the projection dropped from 100 to 200 thousand down to 60,000 is not a flaw int he modeling process. It reflects instead the fact that mitigation is being done, its working, and as that new data hits the model, the model rightly projects downward.
This is one modeler who advocates the following: the only way out of this is to give a prophylactic dose of hydroxychloroquine to every person who does not have measured immunity. Right now you only have a single-digit percentage of USA which has immunity. If you “just reopen” the economy, infections will skyrocket. But this time, you will not be starting from 1 person in 1 location. You will be starting with tens of thousands at every location. If you “just reopen” the economy, you will have slightly less than 2 million people dead, and about 20 million severely sick.
I am not a democrat. This is not democrat propaganda. It’s math. It is not ambiguous. It is not majorly in doubt. It is not a personal private speculation by a crazed handwaving academic. It math-fact.
The facts of this epidemic cannot be discerned by having the purest political convictions. They can only be understood via math.
If Trump reopens the economy, 2 million people dead.
If instead antibody people go back to work, and everyone else gets prophylactic HCQ, the pandemic can be defeated.
Sounds possible but at this point, I have become very skeptical of models. How do we know what is the truth?
People who want to take the drug should just tell their TDS Governor Wackjob that “it’s my body, it’s my choice”.
