We Can't Let The Cure Be Worse Than The Disease

Recently, Rush Limbaugh was off the air for several days to undergo chemotherapy for stage 4 lung cancer. Initially he did well on chemo but then serious side effects kicked in. His legs swelled to where he needed a wheelchair. He developed blood clots, a high fever and other severe reactions. He had to stop the chemo

But Rush points out the irony, the chemo was working, killing the cancer. Yet his body couldn’t tolerate the treatment. That’s because Chemotherapy works by destroying malignant cells faster than healthy cells. Yet it does kill normal cells, healthy cells which can ravage an otherwise healthy body.

Our task force doctors have prescribed a strong chemo to fight the corona virus, a national shutdown. The chemo is working to slow the rate of infection but as the healthy cells begin to die off, the side-effects kick in.

<snip>

But the most debilitating effect of this treatment is our weakened immune system, our Constitution. As governors flex their dictatorial muscle, 31 states now have stay-at-home orders which is effectively martial law ordered by civilians rather than military. These mini Maduro’s are ramping up state control every day.

Delaware: Gov. Carney issues order for state police to stop cars with out-of-state plates. "Your papers, please"

New Jersey, residents are no longer able to travel between the hours of 8 p.m. to 5 a.m Someone tell me how that limits the virus.

And the list goes on, closed parks, beaches where you can’t even take a walk, a clampdown on Americans leaving their homes under any condition.

But we can’t complain, right? They’re just trying to keep us safe.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. - C. S. Lewis

The purpose of the shutdown was to flatten the curve to enable hospitals to handle the numbers. The President did that. So now are we still in lockdown?

Because the Governors’ thrive on power and control.

In families this is called “the cycle of abuse”

Apparently, we can...

That horse left the barn a couple of weeks ago and it’s way out of sight.

We’ve flattened it but we are not on the other side of the peak and every area has its own curve. Rather than scaling Olympus Mons on Mars we’re trying to scale Grand Teton. Anyone turning up sick now caught it in the last two weeks. Don’t be fooled into thinking we’re out of danger and can jump back into normal life. Trump, Birx, Fauci are waiting to see substantial decline in new infections to avoid a rebound of the outbreak when we reopen for business. Trump mentioned June 1st back when he announced the additional thirty days. That seems realistic as a re-evaluation period.

“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” Ben Franklin (1755).

This virus episode was a test, whether we wanted Freedom or Security. For the first time in our history this weak generation dumbly accepted Security, and we were locked out of our businesses and into our homes by our government without a peep of protest.
Enemies of the USA must be amazed that defeating us would be this easy. Credit the Left, who have destroyed our constitutional foundation like termites working in the dark. Americans now value their lives more than their freedom, bought with the blood of generations of those who valued freedom more.

We’ve always been looking at a three month timeline on decision making to avoid a rebound of infections. We’re not even half way based on actual data and you all want to go back to normal. How do you think it got as bad as it did in New York? Government officials telling people everything was fine, go to parades, ride the subways, when it clearly was not. California and Washington aren’t in that situation but Georgia who didn’t take this seriously is in for a rough time that never had to happen.

The shutdown wasn’t to keep people from getting sick, at least not originally. It was to ramp up our healthcare system to be able to treat the sick. The flu killed 80,000 in 2017 but we didn’t shut down to avoid the flu.

The reason corona shut down countries across the globe is that they didn’t have Trump to effectively prepare our hospitals and meet the demand for ppe.

Done, let’s get back to living. We can’t ever keep people from dying from viruses.

They shouldn’t be amazed.

Look at 9/11. Not that it happened, but the aftermath.

Instead of calling it as it is, we picked a few places with some connection and declared war on them, instead of the true enemy, ISLAM.

And in true pathetic weakness, simultaneously WELCOMED these zealots and protected them from any “mean words”, punishing “evil white Americans” while importing MORE of these underhanded violent tyrants.

Folding like this is not shocking!
