The hospitals are keeping it for patients who are critical. The supply is too limited.

No, the problem is that Cuomo's order explicitly prohibits NY pharmacists from dispensing it for patients who are not hospitalized or in the formal trial. So the PCP can write a prescription but it cannot be filled in NY. Fortunately it sounds like a NY doctor's prescription can be filled by a PA pharmacy.

If Cuomo wants to play doctor, he should play epidemiologist and shut down the NYC subway. This am. STAT.
