[Do they have an idea of where those people are? As in what part of the country? Just ALL of us?

We are at 3,889 deaths in the USA as of today. So they are expecting it to multiply by 35, or more, by the end of the month?!]

We were at 268 dead a day 5 days ago. 5 days before that, we were at 46 dead. We are at 741 dead today. The rate of increase is slowing. But in 5 days, we might be at 2000 dead a day. And 5 days after that, 5000 dead a day.

No one knows for sure beforehand, but the numbers are potentially daunting. It’s also how you get to 100,000 dead in a matter of weeks. Italy, where the outbreak might have started a month earlier, has peaked out at 900 dead a day. We have over 5x the population. We might peak out at 5000 dead a day.
