New York Governor Andrew Cuomo wants to go to war with the state of Rhode Island over its actions in sending the National Guard after visiting New Yorkers to make sure they self-quarantine for 14 days. He is threatening to sue the state for its new policy of targeting visiting New Yorkers by using law enforcement to ensure they self-quarantine.

As though Rhode Island gives a shit what NY thinks. Methinks, though, the governor might have lost those electoral votes.
He’s feeling empowered now that trump has backed off closing down NYC. This is only the beginning.
Rhode Island has the right to protect themselves.
If NY won’t quarantine themselves to prevent the spread to other states, then other states have to make the hard choice wither or not to protect themselves.
That’s the flip side of not quarantining infected areas. Non-infected areas, start self quarantining and keeping the infected out.

If there is such a thing, Gina Raimondo of Rhode Island is the best Democrat governor in the country. And I say that as a conservative A former venture capitalist who understands economics and runs it like a Republican reforming their pension system and stays away from identity politics. It’s no wonder Cuomo wants to sue her.
