Many people are unaware that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, in addition to serving in Congress, is also an orchestra conductor. Sometimes she combines the two jobs as when she denounced the Stimulus bill while simultaneously conducting the 1812 Overture.
For once I agree with AOC but certainly not for the same reasons.
Like Socialism itself, Keynesian economics (”government spending ‘stimulates’ the economy”) has long since been debunked, but like socialism keeps getting dug up and walks around like the walking dead.
Don’t you notice almost no opposition from the Left on this??? That should tell you a lot right there. The Left LOVES the walking dead. They are all about death.
We DON’T need more government (”stimulus spending”). We need MUCH LESS government.TAX CUTS and CUTS IN GOVERNMENT SIZE.
Then you’ll have the fight of your life from the Left because THAT will truly launch the economy into the stratosphere and strengthen America economically — exactly what the Left doesn’t want becsue the Left hates America.
This is a very sad thing here. Political expediency at the cost of true recovery. And Trump participating in it. Very sad.
How do we recover form this stupidity? Only one way.

As Rep. Massie of Kentucky rightly pointed out, if the goal is to “get money into the hands of average Americans” for $2 Trillion, every taxpayer in America could receive $13,000. The Bill authorizing this could be written on half a page of paper
Yet this “stimulus” bill is giving American taxpayers only $1,200 - less than 10% of that. 90%+ is going elsewhere - and the bill authorizing it is 800 pages (which no one has read, by the way)
This stimulus, like the last one, is merely a great opportunity for the political class in DC to rob America blind.

The answer to the Keynesian hoax was understood long before Keynesian economics hit the fan - the market economy free from government interference: THE FREE MARKET ECONOMY- THE CREATOR OF WEALTH IN AND AMONG NATIONS.

If you do more editing, here are some suggestions:
Remove the AOC audio portion at the beginning, and play music the whole time.
Make occasional cuts to the “orchestra”. Use the BSO or Philharmonic, etc.
Arm wavers are crazy nuts.
That occurred to me but since the theme was her simultaneous attack on the stimulus bill and conducting the 1812 Overture, I had to include a portion of her speaking...along with conducting the music.
Honestly it’s a good bill. About 45 million is fluff. Equivalent to about 20 bucks.
He’s dumb. How are the owners of small businesses suppose to survive on 13K when they are losing 100K during this if they are the lucky ones. I’d say a lot will close for good.

I would add that contrary to the long refuted Keynesian economics hoax that “government spending stimulates the economy”, what in fact government spending does is inflate the economy. Inflation is the relentless hidden tax from government spending - the more government spending the greater the inflation.
As pointed out by Rep. Massie of Kentucky, TAX CUTS (in this case, REFUNDS) AND GOVERNMENT CUTS is what we need. Can we please get back to the Market Economy Free from government interference? As Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations points out - the Free Market Economy is the creator of wealth in and among nations.
