You could call it a slip of the tongue. But it was deeply revealing of the fervor with which Joe Scarborough, and the MSM at large, are determined to condemn President Trump regarding the coronavirus.
Scarborough opened today's Morning Joe by reciting a litany of the overly-optimistic statements President Trump has made about the virus. Scarborough then said:
"Yesterday, in Donald Trump's hometown [New York], 1,000 Americans died of the coronavirus."

Yeah, Scarborough corrected himself, though even his correction was misleading. But his “slip” was deeply revealing of how he and the MSM want to blame Pres. Trump for the coronavirus.

We caught a break. Over 90% of the country isn’t even “in the epidemic”.
I don’t think Scarborough would have ever made this kind of mistake were it not for his all-consuming hatred of President Trump.

* 25m each of:
- surgical gowns

We make none of these things in NYC. We need the federal gov’t to mobilize production immediately.

How is it “Trump’s NYC?” He doesn’t run either the city or the state. I believe the chief executives there are both liberal Demorats. WHy aren’t THEY getting the blame?
NYC has no industries the country needs. It is a drain on our resources. Anything it contributes can be moved to a better location.
