On Tuesday New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said there are “probably “hundreds of thousands of people” who have already had COVID-19, didn’t know they had it, and recovered. Cuomo continued to say these New Yorkers “should be tested for antibodies so they could go back to work and keep the economy going.”
And now there is a test that will show if a person was already infected by the coronavirus and have developed anti-bodies.
This new test could help put Americans back to work sooner rather than later.

What a moron Jim is. Does he think that the Dems will tolerate a class of elite CIPs that will not represent the grand diversity of our country. Why should these people be privileged above others. Just like in publik school we all advance at the same speed.

My husband is 1% Jewish.
A few years ago there was an article about some employees at a DNA testing company. They were fired because they intentionally told people they had a tiny percent black from some African countries.
You can google this and see if it is the same genealogical testing site.
I expect a large number of us would test positive at this point.

I’m 66 and have been sick for a week. Cough, fatigue, low grade fever, digestive issues. No one will test me because I haven’t traveled to China, know anybody who has the virus, and I don’t have severe SOB. I’d love to know exactly what this is and when I can expect to feel better.
I'm not a doctor, just someone who had those symptoms last month.
Same here around mid-Jan. I refused to make a company business trip (probably put my job at risk) just so I would not risk transferring it to fellow travelers.

Plenty of tests available for the Hollywood elites and the Tech billionaires.
This test would be be excellent to get the wheels slowly turning again. And if you’ve already had it and are immune, you are not in danger of getting infected or spreading it to others and help those that are home bound without spreading it.

I had a terrible cough, clogged lungs, and low grade fever in February, passed it to my wife who had same. My daughter had some symptoms, but was barely effected. All the hallmarks of Covid-19
I don’t know why people are so eager to get DNA tested to determine racial/ethnic ancestry. It’s not very accurate for that purpose. Some diligent genealogical research will get more accurate information for most of us.
My dad’s cousin got it done and they claimed she had no Indian blood. My grandmother and her sisters knew their grandmother and that she was full blooded Cherokee. I’ll trust them.
I have a feeling many of us have had it and survived to tell about it. The coughing and shortness of breath was so bad. Had it a good 3-4 weeks.
