Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) is being sued after selling shares in a hotel company while possessing confidential information about the potential impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Alan Jacobson, a shareholder in Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, sued Burr in federal court on Monday, alleging that the senator used private information to motivate a mass liquidation of his assets. It is illegal for senators to use nonpublic information in conducting securities exchanges...

“Senator Burr owed a duty to Congress, the United States government, and citizens of the United States, including Plaintiff, not to use material nonpublic information that he learned by virtue of his duties as a United States Senator in connection with the sale or purchase of any security,” said Jacobson’s lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Without a Pub Party majority in the Senate, Trump will get nothing through Congress

You still don't get it. Without Trump there would be no Republican party. Before Trump, the Republican party was dead on the floor. No? And you'd be listening to Hillary and her Democrat disciples of deceit making speeches from the Oval Office. After 8 years of Obama then 8 years of H. Clinton, this country would have been belly up done.

Yes there are a couple of good Republicans in the house and Senate. But for me, I trust Trump, not the Republcan party as the majority of them can not be trusted. And they've proved that over and over.
