Hat tips to wattojawa for pointing out that New York was trending differently than the rest of the country, and to SaxxonWoods and FreeReign for pointing out that death rate was a better measure of speed of spread, since case count is determined in part by breadth of testing.
Now you’re posting duplicate post of your own vanities? You ether think you are really important, or you’re just a little “female dog” ass.
NY is testing more than any other state AND the people of NY live on top of each other, have more tourists than any other state AND are living under liberal rule I can just imagine their hospitals being overrun with EVERYONE who has a sniffle it must be a nightmare there, but the libs created this hysteria NOW they can live with it!!!!
“Now youre posting duplicate post of your own vanities?”
No -even the titles are different. Read much?
You’ll have to explain your math because I see a decline of two straight days — before today’s increase.
“Now youre posting duplicate post of your own vanities?”
Not duplicate ... his numbers are going up!
“I see a decline of two straight days”
Did you subtract NYS numbers from USA numbers, as stated in the title of this thread?
Just saw the other thread.
How could this possibly justify a new one?
Where can we find out how many hospital beds are currently being taken up by Corona patients? To me, this is the obvious second-most important statistic (after deaths) and yet I cant find it anywhere.
After deaths, you would think this would be the lead statistic at each of these boring gubernatorial press conferences, but nada, nothing.
Why on Earth would I subtract NYS numbers?
Percentages without totals are worthless. And vice versa. Virginia went from 2 deaths as of Friday to 3 as of Saturday. That is a low number. But percentage-wise it sounds awful! “Death in Virginia increased 50% in one day!!!”
that's why things started to lock down when it didn't seem necessary ...
if we hadn't started shutting down a week ago we'd be in deep shiite ...
we were running about 2 weeks behind Italy ... it all happened very quickly ...
Many on the previous thread were carping about the source - Wikipedia - so I used a new one.
56 states?
Non-NYS deaths per day since 3/11:
27
36
39
49
57
64
83
100
148
184
228
280
this actually means that most of the US is not testing anywhere enough. (I wonder just how Cuomo managed to capture most of the kits?). New York is the largest cluster, but we have no way of knowing if it actually is, and where are the others.
Per today's *MORNING* data, #2 most infected place was Louisiana. I'm guessing New Orleans. But how many tests did they make? New Jersey -- currently #2 -- is obviously the same New York, but probably with less testing.
“56 states?”
Territories - e.g. Guam - and the like.
Huge jump in NY today.
Read the OP - it’s all of one sentence long.
There’s no way to know if there is flattening unless you could track actual numbers with no prevention measures and compare.
