There can be no such thing.
I would be more concerned, regardless of having the surgery or not, whether having your body constantly fight its DNA with massive amounts of hormones leaves you more susceptible to complications from COVID-19.

How about if we all have so stay home for a few weeks or months, some people can just stay their birth gender for a little longer, and not take up medical resources that might be needed by others?

Seriously, I wonder what policy China has regarding surgeries to have people look more like the other sex. You’d think a cannibal dictatorship would be pragmatic about this kind of thing, but look at Britain: you can’t get a hip replacement, but you can go to jail for saying publicly that you think your hip replacement should have a higher priority than a penis-removal.

The attempted suicide rate for transgender people is 41% ( or 41,000 per 100,000, the US rate is estimated to be 9 per 100,000). The attempted suicide rate goes Up after surgery, not down. Lives are being saved by NOT doing these elective surgeries. If a 41% rate of attempted suicide is not the definition of mental illness, I cannot imagine what is.
The generation that calls COVID-19 the “Boomer Remover” is whining that “trans” surgeries are being cancelled.
You just can’t make this stuff up.
Go and peddle your feel sorry for me crap someplace else. I just had several surgeries cancelled that I’ve been waiting months for. I can live how I am so those hospital beds can be better used to save lives of corona victims.
Why in the hell are these selfish, self centered, narcissist assholes, think they are so special that they have a right to deny “NORMAL” people hospital care that will keep them alive.
I may have to tolerate the stupidity of these people but I do not have to accept their self important attitudes.
