I got an email from Mayor Pete offering to wash my knob.
Should I have not deleted it?
I have a spam filter.
Which Freepers are writing you emails?
Absolutely that is what some of the Wuhan spammers we have posting thread after thread would do.
Unsubcribing usually works.
Scientists first found evidence of human coronavirus (HCoV) in the 1960's in the noses of people with the common cold.

American tort law
everyones afraid of getting sued, so they put out this BS so when they are faced with some ridiculous law-suit, they can claim they have done all they could and gave fair-warning.
LOL I get the same thing, the worst was from Westlaw talking about how they are keeping their workers safe. I guess I should be worried about getting the virus if I use their legal search system?
To put the challenge in perspective, over the past few weeks orders for safety masks exceeded our entire on-hand supply by several years, and in some cases, decades. We are working through this challenge and are leveraging our supplier relationships to quickly obtain available merchandise, but in some cases, shipment timing is still undefined.DECADES?? Wow, we are more screwed than we ever dreamed. Im hoping TP isnt in the decades list.
Guess its easier to go online and whine about it instead of just deleting it, like everyone else is doing?
I’m a city administrator in Minnesota and this darned virus has upended my whole week with probably 30 extra hours added to my normal routine. I’ve explained this phenomenon as the “Caring Olympics” where organizations and entities do not want to be the odd man out when it comes to telling people how their organization is monitoring things closely, are focused on the health and safety of their customers and employees and that their thoughts and prayers are with everyone. With even our local gas station sending out such messages, I have no choice but to offer up messages of our own or else risk appearing like “government” is not attentive or concerned to this situation. (Behind the scenes I’ve been working with health care, nursing care and school representatives to monitor things without overreacting or causing undue concern when there are no indications of issues in our region as of yet; so we are indeed attending to things and are rightly focusing our concerns.)
I’m not saying the present situation is not without concern or risk, but the pressure to match everyone else’s knee-jerk reactions is a fascinating psychological phenomenon I find myself in.
Have you tried rebooting your computer?
*Unsubscribe from each email; link is usually at bottom.
*Set-up *SPAM* filter in your email app, tag each offending email and they go directly into ‘trash’, bypassing your inbox.
*Hire Vinnie & Guido Boombattz from Hoboken, to track down each email’s author, and kill them.
Yeah, how about the constant concentration of Coronavirus spam right here. Any negative article or comment anywhere in the world is reposted by FReepers right here, propagating hysteria, fear and panic. Its the only way they can get attention.
I'm getting the same thing........
Yep...every entity I’ve EVER been affiliated with, has sent me a COVID-19 email, in the past two days.
You must drink every time you get a WuFlu email!
Just started getting them today - others may have gone to SPAM...
I heard that there is a malware email called “Coronavirus Tracker”, and they might insert it in your own address book so it looks like it comes from a relative, or they might send it as a phishing mail under a heading like Johns Hopkins or Mayo Clinic. So don’t open anything titled like that. If you care what your bank or grocer is doing, go to their web site and read it there.
