My email box is filled each day with spam from the various banks, vendors, financial institutions, non-profits, hospitals, doctors, and government agencies all anxious to tell me how well they are washing doorknobs and taking other precautions.
Please make them stop!
I use Brave, which has a built in Ad Blocker, and ignore the messages to turn it off.
My problem with that is I need to continue getting communication with these places. These are from businesses I or my clients do business with and I need to communicate with regularly and other offices like my doctors. Everyone wants to tell me all about how well they are treating their employees and how much hand sanitizer they have on hand. It like when liebrals want to tell us how woke they are.
That's a no brainer, you're stuck with those emails........How long does it take to delete them anyway?
Yep...every entity I’ve EVER been affiliated with, has sent me a COVID-19 email, in the past two days.
Not long but the aspect of having to buy into this new feeling that businesses need to pat themselves on the back for practicing normal hygiene and for letting us know how concerned they are for my health is a new level of disingenuous marketing crap that I'm not ready to accept. If this is a new expectation that businesses must do I am not looking forward to having to adopt it for my business.
They are in your face — searching for the purpose of their existence in your life I guess.
If you had any integrity, you would dump them and put an end to their emails.........
You got a better idea?
You must drink every time you get a WuFlu email!

I have that stash, only post-9/11, somewhere in the basement. Ive been meaning to put my eyes on them to assess status, havent gotten around to it.
Unsubcribing usually works.

Unsubscribing simply tells the spammers that there is still a human currently using that email address. Better to just mark it as Spam.
Just started getting them today - others may have gone to SPAM...
I do it a lot. I now get almost no emails that I don’t want to get.
I heard that there is a malware email called “Coronavirus Tracker”, and they might insert it in your own address book so it looks like it comes from a relative, or they might send it as a phishing mail under a heading like Johns Hopkins or Mayo Clinic. So don’t open anything titled like that. If you care what your bank or grocer is doing, go to their web site and read it there.
Yep, me too...about 30+ “What we are doing, etc.” emails from everyone I do business with. Trying to blunt the major business hit they are taking/going to take I guess.
Most of that stuff already hits my Spam box...ever since I started donating to trump when he was running, i have averaged 30+ spams a day asking for donations - and a few promising an easy hook-up with a willing gal - every day.
