Around tidewater Dicks did that 3 or 4 years ago. There stores suck anyway, and really cater to the soccer moms and sports oriented high schoolers.
They also closed golf galaxy and moved the operation to the Dicks brick and mortar.
When was open I did go to Golf Galaxy, only because they had several Club Builders there that actually knew what they were doing and they could fit clubs very well to my tall frame. They would even bend forged shanks no problem. I haven’t been to the consolidated Dicks yet, if I will ever go because my golf equipment is static and I don’t really need anything from there, plus I got to drive at least 25 miles to the nearest one so I’m sort of... I don’t care.
We quit shopping at The Dick when they came out anti-2A.
but even then, it was mostly an expensive clothing store with balls and bats around the edges
and a lot of fishing gear, to be sure. but mostly a clothing store. we hear that the clothes are their most profitable line
the firearms were limited to models we mostly were not very interested in, and ammo was spotty at best.. sometimes they’d have a little good stuff, often not.
strange thing how it works with some stores, they drop merchandise that so much of the public wants...anyway we have no reason or intention to go to The Dick except it is a shortcut into the shopping mall so we sometimes just walk thru the Dickery (buying nothing, of course)

Do they not see the absurdity of on one hand claiming that these things are so bad they should not sell them anymore, but only removing them from some of the stores. If they were that bad they should come out of all the stores.
How much do you want to bet that the stores which will continue to sell guns are also the stores that have the best gun sales?
My two stores near me are busy. Their selection is enormous, it’s just no longer any guns in the future. I don’t hunt, so I don’t care.
