An aide for Clyburn, speaking anonymously, said Clyburn wants the upcoming debate cancelled,
and is concerned about Bernie Sanders “tearing Biden down” in the debate.
The aide also hinted at Biden’s “increasing propensity for making gaffes”
as a reason to let the aged, cognitively-challenged Biden rest up for the general election.
