The Stock Market is Predicting a Democrat Win in November
Vanity

Posted on 03/09/2020 10:01:08 AM PDT by T Ruth

Just like in 2008, the stock market's behavior over the past two weeks is signaling that the Democrats will win in November. The corona virus scare is a manufactured panic. The Democrats and their media toadies will do a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g to win this election. Tanking the stock market and blaming President Trump for it is just a warm-up.

Complacent Republicans are going to have a shock this November just like the Democrats had in 2016. Winning elections is hard work. Registering new voters, identifying supporters, educating voters, watching the polls for fraud, are all hard work. The work is frustrating, time consuming, often unpleasant. Complacent Republicans are not doing it. They are surfing the web, reading articles and talking about “landslide” and “blowout,” instead of doing the work to win an election.

President Trump is a great man who has saved the Republic. That does not mean that he will be re-elected. Winston Churchill was a great man who saved Western Civilization. No one in the world had more prestige and public gratitude than Winston Churchill at the end of WW II. He lost his bid for re-election in July, 1945.

Right now, Republicans are too complacent. Biden can't win because he is senile. Bernie can't win because he is a communist. Bloomberg has dropped out. Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama can't win because they are not even candidates. Wrong, wrong, wrong. The Democrats and their media toadies will do ANYTHING to win this election.

There is still time for Republicans to turn the situation around, but they will have to work.

What effort would you make to undo the election if a Democrat wins? Do that work now if you don't want to wake up on November 4 to find that Bernie, Biden, or Clinton is President-elect. Volunteer for a campaign. Sign up to be a poll worker, or a poll watcher. Do something other than bask in the prospect of a Republican landslide. The stock market is predicting that it won't happen.

I think you may be forgetting how incredibly stupid and fickle a huge percentage of the American population is.

Also if Trump is looking good towards the last of the campaign you can expect some serious attempts at disrupting the polling process. They will try to destroy the legitimacy of the election.

This is going to warfare figuratively and quite possibly literally. If these people see they’re going to lose they’re going to be violent.

to me this is the traders , who make money on a buy or sell, playing the emotional card, and protecting any bets they made early on.

The disconnect between new jobs, lower fuel prices for us, and for those companies that rely on oil to produce things some cost relief if staggering.

The MSM never connects those dots , and just runs with “ If it Bleeds , it leads”

President Trump more then makes up for the anti Trump republicans by bringing in pro Trump Democrats. His crossover appeal is better now then it was in 2016. The race is his to lose. I don’t see him backing off the accelerator and cruising until November.

With under months to go until the election it’s all over I guess. We’re doomed... again.

First, the Bolshies have no plan. Second, the Bolshie plan is to give money to people with no job with taxes from people with no jobs.

Right now, Republicans are too complacent.
Do you have any evidence of that, or are you just spouting bullsh!t and expecting people to believe it because you said so?

Easy question. Trust Sessions. Trust Huber. The midterms are safe.

A coup, aided and abetted by the GOPe, has been raging throughout the Trump admin and the average GOP voter couldn’t care less. If that isn’t complacency nothing is. The idea Trump bumper stickers/signs are a clear sign of voter enthusiasm is silly.

"...The only Democratic candidate whose sign I have seen anywhere is a pathetic "Beto 2020" sign that some nitwit in the next town put next to his long driveway -- and apparently forgot about, since it is still there..."

Hahahahaha...I have one near me like that.

It is dirty, forlorn, twisted at an angle with road scum on it so that the sign looks like some aged and dirty version of gray. I see it every day on my way to work...:) The only thing funnier is seeing a Sanders sticker on a $85K glossy black pickup truck with tinted windows at a construction site...

Republicans are not complacent, we are growing the Party and voting in record breaking numbers and raising massive amounts of money!

Not in 2021, but Feb 2023. Democrats WILL exercise the 26th amendment to remove him and place his VP in the seat, who would then be eligible for 2 full terms - a total of 10 years. Fear the VP more than Biden.

I must say that I totally agree with that observation. Not just to win this election, but to also stay out of prison!

And where do you get the idea that Republicans are working? Thousands of volunteers are being recruited, a fact you would know if you would have checked! So, what are you doing besides writing about the GOP doom?

it’s weird that this guy is riding the lightning for posting an angst ridden screamer, yet just a few posts above it is yet another hillary thread with the standard chorus of howlers.

seems like freakage is only allowed on certain topics.

100% agree with the article.

Much work to be done before the election.

How about the fact that Trump is breaking all records in voter turnout in his primaries for an incumbent, when he is virtually uncontested?

Fair enough.

How do you explain the record turnout of Trump voters in primaries in an election where the candidate is the only one on a ballot? A complacent voter wouldn’t bother to vote.

Or, the large crowds at the rallies? A complacent voter wouldn’t stand in line for hours.

I think those are far stronger indications of non-complacency than someone at a keyboard saying they trust Sessions or Huber. That is a Free Republic bubble that the voters or rally attendees probably have no idea about.

I simply don’t agree that people who say Trump is doing a good job, Trump is doing what he promised, or Trump is good for the economy are complacent or overconfident. They may well be simply optimistic that Trump will win a second term. That doesn’t necessarily make them overconfident.

Just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

What arrogance you guys have! Who is saying that we aren’t suppose to work hard to win? We want to win a landslide victory and crush the Democrats in the next election and the GOP is determined to do so.
