“Show us where Trump has ever told the people who elected him (not all of whom are conservatives) that he is even considering deporting the dreamers who do not have felony or extensive misdemeanor convictions.”
I know - he NEVER said that he was going to deport everyone, and he ALWAYS said that he had a ‘soft spot’ for Dreamers. What he did stand for has getting our immigration system under control, so we controlled who entered and who was here - and that everyone here should be here LEGALLY in one way or another.
People on our side still voted for him because he was FAR BETTER than any other option, in either party...so we basically ignored his talk regarding Dreamers.
