You can mark my words, yesterday he finally ended his political career as a failed, good for nothing politician.
Again. desperate people do desperate things.
No way that happens to a high-profile lib. He'll just say he meant that "posterity will judge them", or some such nonsense.
They need to do pre dawn raids of his home and his office in the senate to make Sure he doesn’t have any weapons to carry out his threats
Schmucky Schumer was drunk. Prove me wrong.
Fake news. The “Democrats” aren’t lawmakers.
He didn't forget anything and he will pay nothing.
Democrat terrorism doesn't count.
Yes, two well known Democrats. They carry a lot of weight and Schumer should be worried. Add a few more Democrats to the the mix and you might have a love fest.
Republicans need to be relentless. We cannot rely on Democrats to do anything about this.
By the way, Josh Hawley underplayed his hand. Either he is a wus, ignorant or both. If you really want to censure Schumer, then you need to call for his removal from office. That might end in censure. Republicans need to aim higher. Take some negotiating lessons from Trump. Call for Schumer's imprisonment, and maybe he will be disbarred, retire before being removed from the Senate, and go onto a challenging career as a commentator at PMSNBC.
Step down? He should be arrested and tried. In all seriousness this is a no brainer. He publicly threatened two supreme court justices by name.
I think this one has legs. And it should. If he were Ted Cruz threatening the liberal justices I’d feel the same way. No man is above the law.
A good caning just might take care of whatever is wrong with him.
Yes, his actions were egregious, but why is it that no one has commented on his incorrect use of that expression? It’s “reap the whirlwind” not “release the whirlwind”.
Not to be critical, but that is delusional.
At best he will quasi apologize once he figures out his lame excuse for going off the rails isn't flying.
McConnell accused Schumer of trying “to gaslight the entire country” by refusing to retract his remarks, and doubling down, saying that he had not directly threatened Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, even as Schumer directly named the Justices.
“At the very best his comments were astonishing, reckless and completely irresponsible, and clearly as the chief justice stated in a rare and extraordinary rebuke they were ‘dangerous,’ because no matter the intention, words carrying the apparent threat of violence can have horrific unintended consequences,” McConnell said.
“These clumsy efforts to erode a pillar of American governance just reminded everyone why that pillar is so crucial,” McConnell continued. “The minority leader of the United States Senate threatened two associate justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. Period. There’s no other way to interpret that.”
And you forgot to post a link.
