This was NOT at Wesleyan University but Virginia Wesleyan University. That said, Wesleyan University is a hotbed of communists and a scene like this could have easily played out there, as well.

Universities are terrified of lawsuits like this. They create an environment that allows violence against non-conformed speech and then when violence happens, there are bunch of lawyers waiting to make money. Meanwhile, financial supporters start to cut off the $$$ flow.
