Looks like New Hampshire has it's first confirmed COVID-19 case. Dartmouth-Hitchcock hospital.
The person is quarantined at home but was tested at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
Boston has a case, and is only 1 and a half hour’s drive.
A little more than 1 1/2 hours but still close.
Great, my wife is home with flu-like symptoms. She’s a teacher and moonlights as a server.
In NH or Near Boston?
We’re in So Vt, but there’s a large pass though population (skiers, tourists) from NYC, CT, and Boston.
Maybe 1¾ hours?
I depends which way you go, but it’s about 2 - 2.5 hours from Boston to Lebanon/Hanover, NH where Dartmouth is located.
I have a case an hour way from me in California gold country, and this is starting to scare me.
Should probably get her in to get checked out, but call first.
My feeling is there will be quite a bloom of Corona in central NH in the coming days or weeks.
I have asthma and live about an hour away. I’m sure it’s all over the area. Can’t help to be with a 3 to 4 week incubation period and potentially being contagious that whole time.
I’m not sure how my asthma will react to it. I worry more about my daughters who also have compromised lungs, and in fact depend on medication that may get scarce due to China drug shortages.
My sons are in the same boat as you, and my husband has diabetes. This is a nightmare.
Worse, this was a hospital employee. Quite a bit of exposure to other people in the hospital perhaps.
My feeling is we’ll all be fine. I feel bad for the older people with very compromised health, especially respiratory.
Prayer works! We’ve recently had a few very amazing miracles within our church. The Lord has been faithful to heal! :)
We’re isolated here, so not a threat to others. I’ll be deciding on taking her tomorrow.
It’s in Lebanon, NH. It’s two hours from Boston up 93 to 89. Then about ten minutes off the highway.
It is a wonderful modern hospital in the middle of the mountains.
It is. I work just south in Newport, NH.
My Dad was taken there from Newport VT when he was sick.
Going into that place is like entering a hotel.
I don't see a reference on this page to Dartmouth-Hitchcock/Lebanon.
You'd have to add more than an hour to get to a Boston/Lebanon destination.
