He looked tired, but I would be in deep recovery mode after a whirlwind trip to India and back. Then Chuckie & Nasty nipping at him and politizing the virus first thing back. He never really gets to savor his victories.

lost so many suburban housewives: It’s mainly due to his behavior and his tone, not necessarily his substance. Young mothers and grandmothers don’t want young children to be exposed to a President who always seems to be shouting, whether at the press corps at a loud and windy event, or in his postings on Twitter, where he also often seems to be figuratively shouting.

This, in micro, is why the 19th amendment was a mistake of fatal proportions. Women in the aggregate are not first concerned with the nation or free markets or liberty, They are focused on security for themselves and their children and on making people be nice. My wife pointed this out to me years ago. She never thought that way politically but she would talk about being appalled at the political observations and desires of her acquaintances and colleagues(she is a retired teacher) and came to the conclusion that that is the way the nation was going because women outvote men.

Good points. In a sense, the rage-Tweet has served its purpose - which was to call attention and not have to pass things through the press filter - but maybe people are looking for more substance now, not only because of the virus but because of the threat of socialism and the resulting disruption and collapse. They’re nervous.

I don’t think it’s so much the anger that upsets the soccer moms as the feeling that perhaps he’s not really in control. I think he had a lot of trouble asserting control because the Dems launched their coup right away, and because half of his staff seemed to be in collusion with them. But his survival of these attacks and his growing knowledge of the how politics work have really solidified him....and reduced his enemies to childish rage (stunts such as Nancy’s ripping up the SOTU speech). Being calm and mature reveals how nutty they have been and still are.

Bernie, btw, is fond of giving Hitleresque , swollen-veins, red-faced rage-speeches. The contrast with a serious but witty and good natured, adult Trump is huge. That doesn’t mean Trump has to lose his personal style, because even the soccer moms appreciate somebody who says what he means and means what he says, and that’s the feeling you get about Trump.

That said, I loved the way he completely undercut Schumer’s grandstanding on the funding by cheerfully thanking them for it!

1. Look very somber and erudite and competent and hold “the room” with all the charm and command that he naturally has.

AND

2. Hold an entertaining and informative rally to the delight of thousands of people.

Once again we can honestly say the rats are just that, rats. If this were to happened while Obama was president Im sure the survival rate of a real pandemic in the US because of their ineptness and the despicable evil thoughts of control would be selective on who would get the best treatment for survival and who would be left to die, scum all of them!

This is exactly what convinces me that the President draws his energy from a Divine source. A 35 year old would have collapsed long ago from what President Trump has endured. Yet, our President doesn’t get older; he becomes more galvanized instead.

America, at her core, is a good country. She is built on freedom for all; that is the most beautiful foundation there is.

Thus, the Good Guys are finally pulling ahead. Bigly.

I liked that the camera stayed pointed toward President Trump and the front of the room, rather than toward the crooks in the media. When they are on camera they like to grandstand and debate, rather than ask questions.

For those of us who have been calling for such a press conference or speech by the president to get ahead of the virus issue, I for one am much relieved about the tone and substance of his presser.

In every endeavor there is always room for improvement but to quibble now is not to advance the cause of the reelection of President Trump.
