I think it’s bizarre that anyone is taking a mayor of a relatively small city seriously for the most powerful job in the world. It’s like saying someone who ran a 711 is therefore qualified to run Microsoft.
To me he thought he might win by declaring himself “The First Gay President”....following Obama’s “first black”, and Hillary’s attempt at “first woman”.
I want the best resume - I don’t care if they’re the jolly green giant - the only reason to elect someone (assuming they qualify) is that they’ll do the best job.

Only thing South Bend has going for it is Notre Dame is there. Bloomy is right you cant compare being mayor of South Bend with being major of NYC.
The Identity Politics routine is not playing so well. The more Buttplug makes an issue with it, the more the independents get turned off about him. How one gets their sexual gratification should never be a basis of judging one’s merit. Using it as a badge of honor says you are using it as a basis of merit, which contradicts the argument. Buttplug is a mess in other issues, indicative of his immaturity.
