Anyone else wonder why the Wuhan Flu, briefly referred to as the Novel Coronavirus, is now referred to as COVID-19? Apparently it has to do with political correctness.
The CO stands for corona, the VI for virus and the D for disease, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of WHO, announced Tuesday at a news conference at the agency’s headquarters in Geneva.
“Having a name matters to prevent the use of other names that can be inaccurate or stigmatizing,” Tedros told reporters…Tedros said the agency wanted to avoid stigmatizing a country or particular group, so it chose a name that did not refer to a geographical location, animals, an individual or a group of people.
Heavens no: stigmatizing is about the worse thing one can do in the 21st century.
It’s far worse than having a tyrannical communist regime engage in biological warfare research that created a genetically manipulated virus for which humans have no antigens; and then somehow let it escape into the general populace. Let’s not stigmatize that.
In other human pestilence news, I’ve been able to obtain the first close up of the weaponized Wuhan Novel Coronavirus. You can see for yourself how it spreads so quickly and effectively:
It appears that each weaponized primary transport bug is equipped with soldier bugs. As soon as the primary bug makes initial contact and infects its host the army is dispersed to likewise infect and suck the life out of additional “hosts.” They never even see them coming. Come to think of it, that’s how socialism and communism spreads too.
Closer to home: should be fun to see how tonight’s debate between the socialist, communist and crony-capitalist shapes up.

I wondered if COVI19 can be spread by mosquito.
If China’s economy is devastated by this, what are the odds they would like to see other countries in the same boat, rather than isolate themselves and request help.
