The Washington Post also reported – based entirely on anonymous sources, of course – that DOJ lawyers mad their decision not to pursue McCabe after a federal judge who would have heard the case told them that he believed the case had been damaged by all of the President’s commentary on it. Obviously, an Obama appointee.

No, not obviously an Obama appointee. For the umpteenth time, someone needs to tell Donald to STFU. He is the nation's chief law enforcement officer, not a jousting partner for Rachel Maddow. Quite a few people should go to prison for their roles in the attempted coup. One of the biggest risks to a successful prosecution is a president with the impulse control of a 13 year old girl who can't stay off Twitter and doesn't understand that he can compromise a serious case. DJT appears to be more interested in having Twitter followers than in allowing investigators to build a case.

And NO, don't complain about "the swamp." DJT is three and a half years into his administration. If he doesn't have solid, reliable people of integrity in the key positions at this point, it's on him. The Twitter addict spends more time feuding with his own appointees on social media than he does actually building a team. He is his own worst enemy.

Barr’s comments make a lot more sense now.

Yea, something that is a crime becomes not a crime because the President tweets about it. So if he says Flynn should be behind bars and DOJ isn’t moving fast enough they will drop the case against him. Did I get that right? Justice, being the same for everyone, MUST make that so. If Trump can kill a case by tweeting then all the cases against his allies should also be dead. You sir, are trying to find a reason no to blame the corrupted system. Sorry, we all see that it is corrupt.

So it’s Trump’s fault the GOP Senate has blocked his key picks? Threatened him not to fire SEssions? Author the Mueller Protection Act? Obviously, not.

McConnell agrees with you: POTUS should just “STFU”, lie back and enjoy it while the Deep State rapes his supporters and administration. Why do you think McConnell wants POTUS to “STFU”? To advance the MAGA agenda? Ha ha. Yeah, that’s it. No doubt.

+1

“not a jousting partner for Rachel Maddow”

So true. Many of the folks out here in the hinterland want to see something done in terms of accountability. Tangible results. At this point the POTUS getting into pissing contests with other twits does no good.

I agree. President needs to stop commenting about the cases. The statement by this Judge will set a precedent going forward that others will site as an excuse not to be charged.

McCabe was almost crying saying Oh wow, what my family has been through for two years. Tough. What about Flynn’s family, Stone who has a wife that is deaf, what about the President’s family who has been hounded for 3 years due to McCabe.

The President and his team are doing a superb job IMHO.

This is no ordinary criminal case and the President is taking on all the Democrats, lot of Republicans, over half of the FBI,DOJ, CIA and and Dept if State, a number of billionaires and trans national interests , and along many foreign leaders and intelligence agencies

In an election year where they all are trying to oust the President

Trump has a very good plan and he is winning.

As the President says, lets see what happens

Exactly. I like Trump, but the rules of the game change when legal jeopardy attaches and he’s President. He’s not a stupid guy, so if he doesn’t get his Twitter act together before Durham reports, then I’m left to conclude his interference is most likely intentional.

If the judiciary is so weak that they cannot judge a case based on facts, then we are in deeper trouble than I thought. And that ain’t the President’s fault no matter how much he tweets.

I don’t believe the Washington Post. I could see a judge saying that only in a semi-kidding manner or an aside.
I could believe the deep state prosecutors exaggerating the conversation to superiors in order to kill the case.

I and a few others here agree...I’ve thought the same thing for a long time and I support the president in all other ways but I’ve talked to people who WON’T support him any longer because of the back and forth tweeting. Like some junior high school kids or today - probably more like college kids.

You have exactly the same perspective as the deep state ‘rats trying to slow walk this coup into ancient history. Are you?

“And NO, don’t complain about “the swamp.” DJT is three and a half years into his administration. If he doesn’t have solid, reliable people of integrity in the key positions at this point, it’s on him.”

Ding-ding-ding! I think we already have a winner for dumbest comment of the year - and we’re only halfway through February!

There are 115,000 people working in the DOJ, and that is just one of dozens of corrupted departments in the Executive branch permanent bureaucracy, that have been infected and festering with disease and corruption for two centuries, while four-year elected administrations come and go.

The parasitic deep state executive branch evolved long ago into the perfect self-sustaining organism - infecting and bribing the other two branches and manifesting a mirror image of itself in a MSM propaganda ministry in order to hide its true nature from the voting public.

The federal bureaucracy, in its perverted state, owes its very survival to its ability to resist the power of We the People to shape it, as intended by the framers of the Constitution. The myriads of bureaucrats in the federal government are like white blood cells, swarming every four years to seek and destroy anything that threatens the host; namely, elected officials and their political appointees.

And you think it’s on DJT if he hasn’t cleaned house in 3 years?

Get a clue.

Except that investigators NEVER seem to WANT to build a case. Donald Trump keeping the corruption front and center via twitter is the only thing that keeps pressure on the swamp to do ANYTHING.

Trump's fault some Federal judge won't hear the case.

How about everyone is in CYA mode and keeping their lips shut while Barr sheepishly says he is innocent, shrugs his shoulders, does NOT push back and PUBLICALLY scolds Trump for stating the obvious.

One look into the Epstein fiasco dictates that Barr is a composite of pieces of feces unwilling to build a case on purpose (Barr sure did a bang up job overseeing a high value witness to all kinds of stuff in Epstein) unless you smoke dope crossing State lines or think the government is corrupt.

Trump is probably frustrated because he was told months ago that Barr would "do" something by Barr himself by now. Trump got word by his own "little birdies" on the inside that Barr is a liar, hits Twitter which ticks off Barr for being called out. McCabe did everything in public, yet you believe Trump Tweeting overrides McCabe PUBLICALLY breaking the law. Convoluted and devoid of logic and centuries of jurisprudence. Hell, more people knew who Zimmerman was in a day than McCabe in what, 2 years.
