Steve Lookner at his Agenda-Free TV channel does the most detailed updates in the growing Coronavirus outbreak of probably any site on the web. He has been covering it since its early stages in January. Yesterday, while watching for his latest update which usually comes a little after 5 PM EST, it was noticeably delayed. In fact, it was the longest delay ever at one hour and forty-five minutes late.
I happened to be watching when Steve finally got the update and it was quite a dramatic moment as you can see due to the big spike in the number of cases reported yesterday, February 12, of almost 15,000 new Coronavirus cases.
I thought you might be interested in seeing Lookner's reaction to that jump when it he first saw it. I highly recommend you subscribe to Agenda-Free TV not only to get detailed analysis about the Coronavirus but other news events as well such as fires, storms, and election results among many other events.

The purpose of the “Bring Out Your Dead” ping list (formerly the “Ebola” ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
If a quarantine saves just one child's life, it's worth it.

I thank God we have Trump in office. If a Democrat president was in office, they would be making a serious effort to parlay this crisis into an opportunity of shutting down a lot of economic activity in the United States, and even consider restricting travel from areas.
It isnt a jump in new cases. It’s a bunch of “suspected” cases from the past moved to confirmed.
Lookner is wonderful! His reporting, on most matters, puts the mainstream PRESStitutes to shame. No commercials, no BS, no TeeVee.
Yeah those are the new numbers. Finally counting patients with clinical viral pneumonia but not positive on the PCR test.

Looker has done a yeoman’s work with this. We subscribed to AFTV a cpl days ago.
Sure... report the huge surge in “cases,” but not that the definition was changed!
China is now counting “suspected cases” (that is, cases which through normal examination seem like they might be coronavirus) the same as “confirmed cases.” The result was a 50% spike. But they also published the number of cases using their old criteria, and the result is a continued withering away of new cases.
Lookner is only as accurate as the data the communist Chinese release. He does do a very good job of eliminating the KooK material that always swirls around these stories which is welcome. As far as our having a problem, I’m looking at the millions of people in quarantine. That’s unprecedented, so we shall see.

I really enjoy listening to Lookner. Very refreshing to have a source that likes to report the news, not have an opinion on the news.
Seems like a good guy. I predict this format will be emulated in the future.
Don’t know if I like the guy. Jury still out on him. For whatever reason he restricted my comments on live chats. I criticized his coverage twice but then joined him for some events but gave up when noticing my comments no longer appear. But I also was able to comment after the video went to archive.
I ask because some politically sensitive issues need this same approach.
Bottom line when he is live I can watch bit not comment. And so if I cared to return I would undo the chat. I have been months without him so don’t need him. I get my news other ways. That said no hard feelings. He maybe took two comments made in late 2018 and early 2019 the wrong way.
