Its a rule of the universe. If you are obsessed by race, and you are an American, you are a Democrat.
And if you are obsessed by race, as most Democrats are, you believe everyone in the rest of the world shares your obsession.
They need to get out more. They need a better class of friends.
On the other hand, if you don’t give two hoots about race, if your focus is more on character, principle, philosophy, and if you tend to hang with normal and decent people of whatever race, you are probably a Republican. Or maybe a libertarian, or somewhere in between. If you are still a Democrat, get out of there, you are hanging with the wrong people.
I’ve been combating racism as a white person for half a century. I have been, and remain, steadfastly against racist institutions such as the Black Congressional Caucus, BET, Jet, Miss Black America, Urban League, Rainbow Push Coalition and many others.
I am pleasantly surprised to learn that AOC has joined in the fight to address the existence of these racist institutions.
