Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden kissed his 19-year-old granddaughter on the lips during a campaign rally in Iowa on Sunday, prompting “grossed out” responses on social media.
The New York Post reports that the former vice president entered the event at Clarke University in Dubuque, holding the hand of Finnegan Biden, the daughter of his son, Hunter.
“I would like to introduce you to my granddaughter Finnegan Biden. The reason I asked Finnegan…grandfathers are always allowed to embarrass their granddaughters — that goes along with the territory. Her other grandma graduated from Clarke College in the mid-60s and talks about it all the time.”
Biden went on to describe the difference between daughters and granddaughters:
“But granddaughters not only love their grandpops but they like them. And that’s the great thing. Thank you, baby.”
Biden kissed Finnegan on the mouth, setting social media on fire with comments.
Social media weighed in:
One Twitter comment said: “This is Biden with his granddaughter. I can’t unsee it, so now you have to.”
The president of the Black Conservative Federation commented: “No man should EVER kiss his granddaughter like such … This is a weird family. Who’s running this man’s campaign??”
Beth Bourdon commented: “I would like a man to kiss me the way Joe Biden kisses his granddaughter.”
Joe Biden has been under constant scrutiny for his inappropriate social cues with women.
He’s gotten handsy with young and old in the past and was also seen at the event touching heads with a woman while Finnegan looks on:

Yes they do, as a defensive measure just in case they need an immediate excuse................
I did when they were toddlers but that was about it. Now I steal them on the head and cheek. My 16 year old hates it.

Bad grandpa. Years ago, this sort of behavior was associated with what was called “a dirty old man”, played by Arte Johnson as prominent Laugh-In character “Tyrone F. Horneigh”, and his “girlfriend” Gladys (Ruth Buzzy), his not so innocent foil.

Hunter is 50 this month.

Someone needs to ask Dr. Jill why she can’t satisfy her man.
At least Gladys Ormphby was a consenting adult, and Tyrone was not a politically powerful personage.
