What do fans around the NFL think of Bill Belichick? Well, they view him as a villain.
The NFL honored the top 100 people in the leagues history as part of the 100th anniversary of the league. They did so during the pregame ceremony ahead of Super Bowl LIV between the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. When Belichick was introduced, the New England Patriots flashed his Super Bowl rings and was booed:

Yep, he sure was.......And the sad part about his career is that of the playoffs he played in, 5 were a wild card slot and they lost every one of them. In 1991 they did win the division playoff but lost the NFC championship......
I feel so sorry for him, he was healthy and could have played for several more years but he just got fed up with playing for an owner that didn't care about building a winning team. As far as I'm concerned, if the NFL can prevent someone from purchasing a team (Rush), they should have the ability to force an owner (the Ford family) to sell.
I have several friends who had season tickets for years and finally gave them up in frustration.....
What a great day that was. Wearing my Lions jersey here in Dallas when the Lions carved them up.
And you never ever saw them in a playoff winner's circle again....LOL!

The Lions have been a dead end for several great running backs for the last 55+ years since they won a championship.
they have hosted at least two super bowls...
And all they could do was watch.....
