Actually, its the Italians who call it that. So everyone else calls it that.
The town is about 50% Italian there-even round abouts. I suppose there are still some elders that speak their native language up there yet.
Just dont call them With Out Papers. That’s a fighting word.
That is how I know about those from the Milwaukee/Chicago area...if you get my hint. They used to come up there to do disposals around there...if you get my hint on that one also. Lake Superior and all that.

Dont know much outside of the 5 families here. Knew guys growing up but that’s a given growing up on staten island as an Italian.
Me and about half my friends speak Italian, the other half speak none.
Doesn’t matter. We’re in America now where English is the language!! :)
