Doesn't that also mean that hundreds, or maybe thousands of people are not driving and contributing to the carbon footprint because products are being brought to them?

Yes if you believe carbon footprint is a problem

However soon what is supposedly convenient will become required.

And you will be trapped and forced to live where you can walk only.

because you wont have or afford the credits to be allowed to use your own transportation.

not yet, but certainly our children and grandchildren.

No necessarily. Many of those people would have driven by Walmart or whatever store has it on their way to and from work so no extra gas. Others, like me, will decide it’s too much trouble and realize they don’t need whatever it was and saved themselves some money.

Needs vs. wants. Bet the vast majority of those sit on your butt and let them deliver it to your front door purchases were never needed.
