I am not liking this one bit.
If the R’s hand Trump a get out of office verdict, I think he will unleash flying monkeys like we have never seen on these congress critters.
McConnell should cause a vote to dismiss the Articles and then let the voters rain hell on the GOP Senators who vote against it. Thanks for Mitt Utah.
Something else here that hasn’t been addressed:
How did Joe Biden become the presumed dem Nominee? There were a dozen or so people — now a few less— running for that spot.
Here are some questions that ought to be asked:
1. Is Biden already the dem nominee? If not, why the claim that Trump’s intentions were to undermine B’s candidacy? Shouldn’t he be vetted as the rest are. This whole thing implies that fix is in, long before the floor vote.
Have these inquisitors conspired to force Biden on the rest of the party, months before the primaries?
A backroom deal? Sounds like corruption to me. Let’s talk about that.
2. If not, why aren’t they presenting evidence of similar actions against any of the other candidates? Trump’s not the sort to put his eggs in one basket.
So,if his alleged net of intrigue stopped with Biden, then isn’t it more likely the request was a legitimate inquiry into the corruption of a former Vice-president.
3. Does declaring oneself a Dem nominee automatically shield one from liability for past crimes?
