That takes a really lowdown sort of human.

So glad this poor doggie was saved. I hope the fiend who left her to die gets their ugly face kicked in all the way down the street. Would probably improve their looks.

All of our pets have been found/dumped. The Siberian Husky was dumped and had no teeth. Smartest dog ever and loyal companion for 8 short years. I sorely miss my best friend.

Reminds me of Courage, a dog intentionally starved to 37 pounds, and saved by my rescue, the German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (CA) in March 2010. He passed away in 2016 due a heart attack.

Read up on a lurcher. Similar to my dog — Carolina Dog/American Dingo. Sight hounds, hard headed wild beasties who really aren’t for most people. Good hunter, companion pups — but they keep you on your toes.
They can be trained — but they take it all as more of a suggestion than a rule.
The little bast*rds will devilishly steal your heart and not give it back, though.
They are not for the timid or weak...or for people who just want a dog with little committment.
My dog routinely pisses me off... but he’s amazing. The most loving, unique, loyal jerk of a dog I’ve ever owned.
I hope the creep owner who abandoned him gets what’s coming to him/her.

A dog found in that condition must have been a stray for a long time.

As a dog owner of three dogs which lived 14-16 years, this ending gives me a glow of happiness. Now have a shelter dog and she is 4 years old. Thanks to you for putting on this story.
