Read lately that a municipality of Switzerland maybe filing for bankruptcy because of so many muslims on welfare.
I assumed there were more.
I haven’t heard of any canton in Switzerland filing for bankruptcy.
the Swiss cantons are highly independent - practically countries in their own right. They have far more independence from central “government” than US states. German “landen” have slightly more independence from central government than US states but the swiss take the cake :)
