I’d say that German climate blogger Snow Fan here of this current data has been debunked in his analysis. Its false.

I suppose it all depends on what you consider to be the greatest...is it the area of fire-cover, the number of houses destroyed, or the number of people killed?

If blackened territory is the criteria, one particular region/year might win the title, but if it’s damage to human habitation/infrastructure, then that’s another, and that of course depends on the population density of the fires at the time. Or, you could take into account the statement by the ‘scientist’ who says that over a billion ‘animals’ have been wiped out, and in that billion he includes insects, frogs and lizards.

Now,tragedy is a contest, right? Who can write the most riveting headline...and include the global warming punchline.
