I don't think the Left has even begun to chimp out over Trump's statement yet. They're probably too shell-shocked from the verbal bombing they just heard. What are they gonna do - 'OK, back to impeaching Orange Man'? 'It's all Trump's fault anyway'? 'Look! A squirrel!' Their pettiness, subversion, and self-serving tantrums have already all but guaranteed November's election to turn into a prison rape on them. They've tried for five years to mine dirt on Trump, and all they've produced is second and third-hand heresay and innuendo, and people are fed up with the 24/7 lib fibfest. Trump fishes while they cut stale bait.
