So, what actually happened last night? – Not much, other than open sedition and disgrace from the Democrat/media/Deep State Axis of disinformation.
When news broke that Iran was lobbing missiles from its soil at a pair of Iraqi military bases where U.S. and coalition forces were stationed, Democrats and media figures immediately started cheering section for the Iranian Mullahs on Twitter. Larry O’Donnell kicked things off with this little gem, openly urging the Mullahs to take revenge on the bad Orange Man in the White House:
San Fran Nan Pelosi, the ostensible Speaker of the House, did her own version of “Down the Field, Big Team, Down the Field” for the Mullahs with this tweet, blaming everything on the Orange Man:
No wonder those articles of impeachment she’s been holding onto for weeks smell like vodka and mothballs.
Meanwhile, over at CNN, it was business as usual:
Thankfully, whether due to poor aim of the Iranian military or by intention, no U.S. or Coalition personnel were killed in the missile attacks. As one friend emailed me this morning: “Iran named this attack after General Soleimani…that’s why it was scattered all over the desert, not hurting anyone.”
President Trump, showing the restraint towards Iran’s constant provocations that he has demonstrated throughout his presidency, actually did closely monitor the situation throughout the evening. Despite wild media reports variously claiming that he had scrambled stealth fighters out of the UAE and ordered nuclear-warhead-armed B-52s to prepare for takeoff, the U.S. held its massive fire and allowed the situation to fully play itself out.
Be thankful he’s your President, and not the actual hothead who openly celebrated the “successful” Obama Administration plan to throw the entire nation of Libya into 19th century turmoil, a state it remains in to this day.

Time for “Palmer Raids”. This literally could be the best thing that ever happened for us.
Trump should put a naval blockade in place and stop any Iranian ship on the high seas and take them to the nearest port and hold them. Do as many non lethal moves as possible. If the Iranians lash out...oh well.

In all seriousness, I’ll bet a lot of prominent dem’s are very disappointed that nobody was injured or killed. It’s pretty obvious that the president has the perfect opportunity to say that Iran had their little face saving tantrum and he agrees with them that this ends this episode. This is another event that boosts the president for November. He won again. And he won when the left and D’s were condemning his “risky” move.
Yes. The left in this country is 100% in tune with the iranians. The left has raised the iran affair to a level never before reached. The same left that totally hid obamma’s love and monetary gift to iran.
The left is encouraging iran to strike US targets and kill Americans. When that happens the left will escalate their coverage even more.
The end goal is to get rid of Trump. The left will cause deaths and blame Trump for them. They will willingly betray us to get rid of Trump.

So Iran retaliation is lobbying a few missles at airbases and hitting NOTHING.
What I would need to know as POTUS, before moving forward today, would be if the missles were destroyed in flight by our systems 1: (Thor, Phalanx, PatriotII) 2: Were directed deliberately to miss. 3: Were just pathetic and couldn’t hit anything.
We had to shoot them down, we must retaliate. They were pathetic and incapable of hitting anything, we make fun of them. They were directed away, in an effort to ‘save face’, but to remind us they can shoot to, I would not militarily respond.
That’s just me. Tired of endless wars without clear achievable objectives.
This foolish attack is a good excuse to end their nuclear weapons program.

Trump won this round. And if Iran tries anything else, I suspect their entire Navy will be at the bottom of the sea.
You pretty much nail it as far as I’m concerned. Trump has been handed a huge victory here - if he handles it well verbally and considers this pointless attack the end of this particular round.
It would be a huge mistake for him to do any kind of military retaliation, and I suspect the D’s will do all they can to try to get him to do it. But retaliation doesn’t sound like trump, when nothing is damaged. I think he was given a huge win here, and he has the opportunity to make it even bigly huge. :)
On a related note - I don’t believe in coincidences and think more will be coming out about the airliner crash. Something was afoot there, IMO.
