If any other country did this — kill Americans, shoot down our planes, attack our embassy, etc. — like China for example, would the US give them piles of cash? No. Would the US look the other way? No. So why does Iran act belligerently with impunity to the US? Because the US has given them their way out of weakness, appeased them and failed to have strong deterrents. Time for strong deterrents as a means for peace.
