Our fight is not with our fellow black citizen, common folk just like us. If the GOP wanted to really make real some inroads, their local politicians and/or candidates would reach out and help some of these folk get their photo id. And while helping them, one has the opportunity to tell them why you are helping them, why voter id is important.
All politics is local. While one might think this would be helping the demokraps, quite the contrary. The people they are helping probably already vote. A candidate who is helping the people in his community will gather some of their votes because of the personal interaction. A GOP local candidate getting face time with the demokrap voter is not something the demokraps want ... it forces them to play defense (just ask Trump).
Despite what the media might tell you, Jesse Helms had many black, democrat votes because when they called his office, he helped anyone and everyone. One told me that Jesse made her feel important. He had the one opportunity to interact with the constituent, and if they voted for him, he earned it, they respected him.
How do people with no ID get welfare, see doctors, and get prescriptions?
