1978 Tawain, S.Korea, S.Africa & Israel all denied full membership at United Nations... joined together by necessity as token Western nations... Rhodesia was full of Cuban mercenaries and black communists... This group of accomplished their singular goals of self defense. None have been invaded except S.Africa who was probably the first nation to turn over nuclear weapons. I have no doubts the remaining three all posses a strong deterrent such as to Chinese reunification or North Korean invasion or Arab conquest.
