I was in the middle of a Skype call with a bunch of my cybersecurity co-workers. I mentioned the recent revelations about the FireEye and Solar Winds compromise. My analogy was Star Trek related. Solar Winds has dropped our shields. Now, the FireEye tools can deliver a photon torpedo.
