The FISA warrant allows the “two-hop” rule. That means the spying just starts with Page. It includes the first circle of people who Page had direct contact with. And includes the second circle of people who had contact with the first circle. Carter Page had direct contact with President Trump adviser Steve Bannon, so the second hop would include President Trump.
Just wanted to add that Devon Nunes is presidential material. He needs to be acknowledged and made somewhat secure within the GOP and the entire nation.

Chief Justice John Roberts is 100% responsible for the FISA courts and their malicious behavior. As long as Roberts is Chief Justice, the FISA elements will be hugely problematic for our republic.
Not a word from Roberts or the FISA judges who were scammed yet. They’ve all known that Obama’s internal security apparatchiks had been abusing the system since Judge Collyer called them on it three years ago. You can never trust a democrat with a process so ripe for abuse.

Think what could happen with this two-hop rule if they got an original warrant on a telemarketer. Everyone in the world would be subject to surveillance.

They may not have been scammed and might have part of this attempted overthrow. Expect them to be trying to defend their positions soon.

Yeah, that interview was pathetic. Wray couldn’t bring himself to acknowledge any FBI wrongdoing whatsoever! Not much chance of him cleaning house.
I suppose President Trump should wait until the Senate acquits him before firing another FBI Chief, but he needs to be replaced ASAP - this time by an outsider with a set of brass balls.
Only 2 sentences now need be remembered around any law officer or agent:
1. I want a/my lawyer.
2. I was afraid for my life.
How many times has Nunes voted in support of the FISA court? And I mean all around, funding it, keeping it, etc.
