backstory for those of you who are not Tommy fans,
Girl, 8, rocks photo shoot after being denied school picture for hair extensions

I suppose the same thing would happen as if a pupil arrived on any other day with "bright tresses."
Or as Tommy said the rules applied to a white girl who had put this crap in her hair on photo day.
Cute little girl, and I felt sort of sorry for her, since someone else had to have decided to put the red extensions in her hair for picture day. But the last set of photos on the site turned me off to the whole story, and showed deeper intentions on someone’s part.
Tommy sure hit a point about how the black women in the workplace manipulate every situation by using their race. I’ve dealt with co-workers like this. One had three kids by three different fathers (never married). I don’t think she ever worked a full work week, always using her kids as an excuse. And when she actually had her butt in the chair at her desk, she’d sit there and file her nails while the rest of us jumped up to assist people at the counter, requiring us to walk past her desk to do it. I complained once and I was severely reprimanded. Frances was immune to criticism.
And that little girl in the pics, well, she’s adorable but — giving the “black power” fist? Her mother’s a pig and a scofflaw, and some day may be a pimp. The kid needs to be in a regular public school, so that someone respectful can take that space in the charter school. It’s wasted on this little girl.
Would offend a muzzie or some persons or something.
we had a similar co worker. She was promoted time and time again for little to no work. The office was located in “the hood” and some of us noticed a mistreated dog next door in single digit temps with little shelter.
She said: “that’s just the way black folks treat they dogs.”
Yet when the temperature outside fell below 60 outside, we’d get all the “I aint got no heat calls” from people of like persuasion.
Private schools have dress codes and if you don’t like it then go to a public school.

This girl goes to an area school in a town near where I live.
Big uproar for weeks.
What a crock, she looked fine.
Had a black coworker who had radio at her desk and it was loud and my boss asked her to turn it down or use head phones. I had a radio too and he walked by and said same thing to me. I did as I was told. She comes over later on and told me what our boss said to her and she says “I know discrimination lawyers and I think I will file a complaint”. I said good luck and she said why. I said because he told me the same thing. She walked away and never said another word and no complaint ever came.
Ha!
At work one day my best friend and I were joking with each other about weight we had gained over Christmas. Pat said, “I’m wider than you.” I said, “No. I’m wider than YOU!” — doing that back and forth.
Celeste (Amish) walked by, charged in, and got in our faces, and screamed, “Who’s whiter than who? That’s racist!” We were shocked, looked at each other, and practically rolled on the floor laughing at her. She was NOT amused.
It’s probably a good thing you didn’t call her a nagger...
You should have told her she was just a little bigger...
“You should have told her she was just a little bigger..”
Oh, that’s good! Why didn’t I think of that?!
